We were very excited to host the Elastic London meet-up at our London office at the end of September.
The evening kicked off with drinks and some gentle networking followed by Carly Richmond, Elastic Developer Advocate, who welcomed everyone and gave the intro speech. Then onto the main event with our very own Ajinkya Vaze sharing some insights on how Elasticsearch powers Rightmove’s lightning fast Property Search and Property Alerts features.
After a short break for more refreshments and pizza, Rafał Foltyński, a Senior Java Developer at LMAX Group and member of the Elastic community, spoke about the open source connector log4j2-elasticsearch that he maintains. The evening ended with Q&A from the audience and lots of social chat.
